Jessica Norrie

Jessica Norrie is a London teacher and translator who published The Infinity Pool in 2015.  Her writing starts by exploring a curious location or a social situation: the impetus could be a small as a shop window display glimpsed from the top of a bus, or as in the novel, a group of people on a soul searching holiday. A European literature graduate, she’s fascinated by the crossovers and contrasts of different languages and cultures. Her priorities include a clear style and presenting different points of view, so it’s unsurprising that she is an admirer of Helen Dunmore in contemporary fiction while her favourite classic is Flaubert’s Madame Bovary.
