Residential workshop: Poisoned Pen, unleashing & crafting your crime novel. In the comfortable surroundings of Glenlee Guest House in Swanage, Dorset, CWA debut dagger long-listed author Kate Evans will facilitate workshops exploring the crafting of a crime novel. Whether you are stuck halfway through writing or only have ideas floating around your head, come and discover ways of unleashing and crafting your story. Kate has been a writer for 30 years. Recently she has published Pathways Through Writing Blocks in the Academic Environment (Sense Publishers) and a crime series based in Scarborough, The Art of the Imperfect and The Art of Survival (Avenue Press Scarborough). Dates: Sunday, 12th February, 2017 from mid-afternoon: arrival, welcome and introductions. From 9.30am on Monday 13th until midday on Wednesday 15th February: workshops, time to write & relax. Departure after lunch on the 15th.
