Amanda Saint’s debut novel, As If I Were A River, tells the story of three generations of women and the impact of the secrets they keep. The novel she’s writing now is set in a future that looks more like the past. In her novels and short stories, Amanda seeks to explore the dualities of human nature and the lives that people end up leading. Nomadic by nature, Amanda has been married to John since the start of the millennium and they move around the world a lot. She also runs Retreat West, which provides creative writing retreats and courses.
